Corporate Responsibility

Contract & Construction Consultants is an ethical company, committed to environmental issues and charitable projects. It is important to CCC to ensure that its success in business is matched by a commitment to support the community, its clients, suppliers and staff as well as the environment. We have taken a number of steps over the years to reduce our environmental impact.

CCC make regular charitable contributions and in addition are actively involved in fund raising. For example we have previously raised tens of thousands of pounds for Oxfam and the Gurkha Welfare Trust, by fielding teams year on year for “Trailwalker”, a 100 kilometre team endurance course. CCC and its staff will be continuing its fund raising activities by taking part in events such as Trailwalker and Race For Life.

As part of its determination to give something back to the community, CCC will continue to make donations and to work with various charities including CLIC Sargent, the Bristol Royal Infirmary, the NSPCC, Oxfam, the Gurkha Welfare Trust, The Joshua Foundation and "AMICUS an Epidemic of Goodwill."

CLIC Sargent is the UK's leading children's cancer charity and provides care for children and young people with cancer and their families.
The Bristol Royal Infirmary is part of the University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. The BRI has provided care for patients since 1737 and is committed to providing the highest quality research and the best medical teaching.
The NSPCC works to end cruelty to children. The charity also lobbies and campaigns for better laws and policies to protect children.
Oxfam's work is both varied and far reaching. CCC has taken part in Oxfam's “Trailwalker” event raising tens of thousands of pounds for the charity in previous years.
The Gurkha Welfare Trust works to provide financial, medical and community aid to alleviate hardship and distress among Gurkha ex-servicemen of the British Crown and their dependants.
The Joshua Foundation carries out charity work in Tanzania. CCC has been particularly involved with the school project and aims to continue to provide ongoing support to this charity.
"Amicus an Epidemic of Goodwill" is a charity which raises funds for research into an immunotherapeutic therapy, intended to be used to treat HIV. CCC was recently the primary sponsor of the fundraising event Decades of Decadence, held in Bristol, which was organised by its Associate Director Morwenna Crichton.
